01About this policy
This policy explains how HUSSTO collects and uses personal data when you use our website, rent a vehicle, or take part in our fleet programs. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other Indian laws that apply.
02What we collect
- Contact details: name, mobile number, email address and address.
- Work details: the delivery platform you work with, your partner / rider ID on it, and the plan you are interested in.
- Verification documents (online booking): a screenshot of your ID in the partner app, your payout amounts for the last 3 months, and the payout screenshots or statements you upload.
- Identity and eligibility: government photo ID, driving licence where required, and your delivery-platform work ID.
- Rental and payment records: plan, dates, rent paid, security deposit and refunds.
- Vehicle records: which vehicle you rented, inspection notes, damage reports and challans.
- Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, phone, email or through the contact form.
- Fleet program details: for owners, purchase records, agreements and bank details for payouts.
03Our website, contact form and online booking
- Contact form: we store your name, mobile number, address, the delivery platform you work with and the plan you chose on HUSSTO's own server. It then opens WhatsApp with your details filled in, and you choose whether to send that message.
- Online booking: we store the details and files you send on HUSSTO's own server, outside the public website. Files are never published on the website.
- Only authorised HUSSTO staff can see form entries and uploaded files, through a password-protected page.
- We use your work ID, payouts and screenshots only to verify you and set your security deposit. We delete them once they are no longer needed for your booking or rental, unless the law requires us to keep them.
- For both forms we record the time and your IP address, to stop spam.
- This website does not use cookies or analytics tools. It stores your Day / Night theme choice in your own browser.
- Our web server keeps standard access logs, such as IP address and pages requested, to keep the site secure.
04Why we use your data
- to verify your identity and work ID, and to set your security deposit;
- to run your rental: handover, rent, renewals, returns and refunds;
- to contact you about your booking, breakdowns and support;
- to run the Fleet Ownership and Fleet Operations Programs;
- to meet legal duties, such as tax records and requests from authorities;
- to protect our vehicles and prevent fraud.
We use your data with your consent, which you give when you book or contact us, and for other legitimate uses allowed by law.
06How long we keep it
We keep your data while your rental or agreement is active, and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.
07How we protect it
We limit access to the people who need it, keep ID documents securely, and take reasonable steps to prevent loss or misuse. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
08Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this may mean we cannot continue a rental);
- nominate someone to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act;
- raise a complaint with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
09Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
